Ensure audio can be heard from other programs. If audio is muted for all programs, you need to fix that first.
Ensure system-wide volume is correct and not muted.
Ensure the in-game Options > Audio volume sliders are correct.
Ensure you have selected the correct audio device as the default.
Ensure the audio device is not configured to allow ’exclusive control’, or close any programs that may have ’exclusive control’ (such as Voicemeeter).
